Boulder Family Portrait Photography – NCAR

It has been nearly a year since I last photographed this family. A few things have changed since then. Ethan lost a few teeth, but gained a few inches. Elise seems to have more curls and is much more talkative. Skoki—the family dog, has a few more gray hairs on his chin. Mom and dad, they haven’t changed much, but they are the ones who suggested we check out NCAR for their family portrait session. Sure, the views of the Flatirons are fabulous up there, but my favorite feature was the tall grass. I just couldn’t get enough. At first, the kids loved the tall grass too, but Elise—who barely comes up to my waist, found the grass a little overwhelming after awhile. After finding her way back to the trail she was all smiles again. Thanks for another super fun family portrait session!
