You are going to recognize these two and their pups. I photographed their family portraits earlier this spring—in a wind storm! If you live in Colorado, you might recall those few weeks in April and May when the moment you stepped outside you felt the ginormous wind machine in action. Since the weather for their initial session was less than optimal, we decided it was time for a do-over.
We dealt with mother nature again this session, but this time she was a little more on our side. It was steamy hot and the Arizona wildfires caused a low lying haze in the skies of the Colorado Front Range. The sun fought hard to peak through the haze, and succeeded every now and then, casting warm rays of glowing sunlight. Perfect for a family portrait session. When the rays peaked through, the light was stunning.

Thanks to the two of you for an awesome evening. I hope these family portraits help show others how much love is in your family and aid in the search for the child you will adopt.
