A Colorado open-air wedding in the fall gets me all giddy. What is better than a wedding celebration in cooler temperatures and glowing fall sunlight? Patty and Nick’s wedding at Denver Botanic Garden at Chatfield was just this—a dreamy fall alfresco wedding.
They were married on a picture perfect day in the warm sunshine and then danced the night away under the twinkling lights outside the Green Farm Barn at Denver Botanic Gardens at Chatfield. In addition to a gorgeous location for their wedding, this couple was a blast to photograph. Our fun started at their engagement session and didn’t stop until they made their grand exit from their wedding reception under a tunnel of streamers. Patty was a stunning bride in her Watters gown from Anna Bé and Nick in his suspenders and bow tie completed their sophisticated look. Oh, and their dog Marshall, who has been part of Nick’s world since college, was the perfect gentleman walking down the aisle, hanging out during the ceremony and smiling for the camera. You know me, and my OBSESSION with dogs—I love them all!
A big shoutout to Alison Vagnini for helping me photograph this wedding, it is always a pleasure to work with you girl! Another shoutout to Bliss Elevated. Julie did a fantastic job helping plan the details of the wedding and was a pleasure to work with as she kept things running smoothly throughout the day. And finally an enormous thank you to Patty and Nick for having us along for the ride! Here’s to a life of laughter, happiness and adventure together. Congrats!
