Aubree and I go way back. My most prominent memory of Aubree is being in French class with her in high school. At the time, it seemed to me as if French was Aubree’s native language, since she aced every test and spoke with such ease. I struggled and struggled in French. Trying to roll my r’s properly and always guessing if it was called an accent grave or an accent agui. I never really learned the difference. That could be one reason why Aubree got an A in French and I barely slid by with a C.
On to the present…Aubree is now a proud mother of two. I was happy to photograph her kids on my Midwest tour in late November. These images include the youngest newborn I have ever photographed. On the day of the session, Samantha was two weeks old. Her big brother Jack, who just turned three, was awesome! He was so excited and proud to hold her, it warmed my heart.
Sweet sibling love—I can’t wait to show them this one when they are teenagers!
