Portraits: Pup & Prep Work

During the tiny window of sun yesterday Kona (my pup) and I headed out for a little location scouting for a family portrait session that will take place later this week. I told him he could only come with me if he promised to be an amicable model and let me test the backlight on him. He agreed, but demanded I bring many treats to help keep him motivated.

He was a little shy to start off, but eventually warmed up to the camera.

I know, it is so hard being my dog. Modeling and spending the afternoon at the park. Poor guy!

Looking forward to a fun family portrait session in a few days. Let’s hope the rain and wind stay away and give us a break.
