iPhoneography 101

I want to teach you to use your iPhone in a proficient and thoughtful way, that will help you create photos with your phone that you’re proud to hang on your walls or even print in books!

In my iPhoneography 101 two-session class, I will help train your eyes to see the special moments in life, while helping you be more confident and thoughtful in using your iPhone camera. Each session is 1.5 hours and covers different material. Class is limited to 10 participants to guarantee ample individual attention.

iPhoneography 101 is a two part series offered on Tuesdays and Wednesdays in November and December. Please see below for the content covered. Each 1.5 hour session is $100, or purchase both sessions in advance for $175.

Part 1:

• iPhone vs DSLR
• Focus, exposure, and motion
• Introduction to light
• Introduction to composition
• Basic editing

Part 2:

• Advanced iPhone camera technology
• Advanced use of light
• Advanced composition
• Natural expressions
• Advanced editing tools

• BONUS MATERIAL: 4-week  Online Photo Challenges where I give feedback on participants’ pictures (value $120)

Content NOT covered:

• How to take good photos with your DSLR camera. I offer a beginner DSLR photography workshop. If you are interested in hosting one, reach out.

What to Bring:

• Your iPhone (other smartphones are welcome, but the technical content will be based on iPhones)
• Something to take notes on/with
• Zoom account (free) for access to class
